Tropical treetop hideaways with a laidback vibe in the unspoiled lush coastal area of Southern Nicaragua
Nestled amidst the jungled hillsides gazing out at the boundless Pacific Ocean between the beaches of Majagual and Maderas, these tastefully designed casitas offer the picture-perfect refuge to press pause, detox, and slow down. Thoughtfully designed using native materials and local touches, rooms are both intimate and chic, furnished with hand-carved wooden furniture and copper fixtures, and swathed in neutral earthy hues.
Interiors are simple but tasteful, with king-sized beds cloaked in mosquito nets, comfy canvas deck chairs, and floor-to-ceiling windows blurring the line between inside and out. And howling monkeys, colorful macaws, and the occasional creepy crawlies are all part of the backdrop at this jungle getaway.
“We are also an eco-conscious community — we do not believe in spraying heavy pesticides like local hotels to control bugs, meaning we are not poisoning the food chain from the bottom up. All of our actions have far-reaching consequences, and we want the wildlife — such as monkeys, sloths, and parrots — to visit and thrive in our locale.”

Twelve tastefully designed cabanas offer open-air living with beachy boho decor. Design, comfort, and style are all present in abundance, with floor-to-ceiling screen walls framing the surrounding sea and jungle views. Comfy king-sized beds sit on polished concrete floors topped with hand-carved furnishings and brightly-colored throw pillows throughout. Bathrooms boast open showers with salvaged copper pipes and fittings.
Casitas open out onto wooden verandahs strewn with plush deck chairs and hammocks for chilling and soaking up the views. And most of the villas have stunning infinity pools beautifully integrated into the exterior design.
