An off-grid private island eco-retreat nestled in mango groves alongside Lake Nicaragua

Nature plays muse at this tastefully designed eco-retreat slap bang in the middle of Lake Nicaragua. Connected by wooden boardwalks that weave through jungly lagoons, these tastefully decorated treehouse casitas are the perfect setting for a nature retreat and are only a stone’s throw from Granada. Bolstering the hotel’s vibe as a nature getaway, light-filled spaces, and wooden decks create a continuous dialogue between inside and out.

Interior spaces are the ultimate in boho-chic with a style narrative that is all about local touches. Think custom-designed tiles, hand-loomed blankets, and bespoke touches, all courtesy of local artisans—a luscious jungle retreat to chill and press pause idly.

“We have operated Isleta El Espino upon the principle that sustainability and respect of the environment, people, and culture is of the utmost importance. It’s how we live our lives at home, and it’s how we operate our business.”
