Mowani Mountain Camp

Damaraland, Namibia

Namibia / Damaraland & Skeleton Coast / Mowani Mountain Camp

A quaint and stylish eco-lodge of stilted tent platforms perched on a rocking outcrop in the desolate Huab valley

Luxury thatched lodges and ensuite tents with generous decks, offering views over the Damaraland landscape, make Mowani Mountain Camp exclusive and unique with its own original style. Each rondavel-shaped suite has its own butler, private lounge, dining, and bar facilities, as well as indoor and outdoor bathrooms. Like the main buildings, each suite is tucked away and entirely private, despite being open.

The camp's spacious lounge overlooks a waterhole and is a fantastic spot to enjoy a sundowner. The inviting pool and deck are tastefully concealed by the giant boulders that surround the camp. It’s the perfect base to explore Damaraland's vast and unspoiled wilderness.

“We love our people and pride ourselves in being a part of the conservancy we operate in. We believe our community, wildlife and environment should continue to thrive beyond our time here.”
