Onar Andros
Andros, Greece
A cluster of stylish yet chill stone villas nestled amidst the oleander trees near a deliciously secluded cove in Andros
This nature-getaway-meets-hippy-commune has a pared-back style and sustainable sensibility. Set in a remote, unspoiled corner of Andros, Onar’s collection of villas is intimate and unpretentious. Interiors are minimalist in style, decorated in creamy, earthy hues, wicker baskets, and upcycled wood, with tasteful accents throughout.
Expansive stone terraces shaded by bamboo awnings look out on flowering fields, sculpted oleander trees, and a drool-worthy infinity pool overlooking the verdant valleys below.
“Our philosophy inhabits each and every activity of ours. With our daily commitment to respect Andros’ nature ecosystem, our basic concern is the least possible intervention in the natural landscape. Building our houses with natural local materials and preparing our meals with ingredients from our certified organic garden promote our efforts for authentic Greek hospitality. Seeking ways for developing alternative forms of energy and ecological activities are pivotal pillars of Onar’s peaceful everyday life near nature.”
