A swanky fusion of understated luxury, slow-living, and a whole lot of soul

Tucked away in the hillsides of this tiny unspoiled island, this new splurge-worthy hotel is understated luxury with a whole lot of soul.  Unpretentious, unspoiled, and unmanicured are words that best describe the Rooster.

Conceived as a wellness and lifestyle hub by owner Athanasia Comninos, the hotel offers conscious luxury in harmony with the natural surroundings. This eco-chic charmer is a cut above the rest of the flock.

“Local culture meets elegance at this stunning one of a kind space where our guests will create unforgettable memories, will be encouraged to relax, be part of our local community, and be organically obliged to mingle and bond.”

the look.

In a nod to traditional Cycladic architecture, each villa is designed with rough-cut stone, whitewashed walls, exposed beam ceilings, and shaded reed-thatched verandas. Interiors are tranquil and spacious, blending neutral color schemes with cool stone and warm woods.

Expansive windows frame the views and wraparound terraces. Brushed concrete floors, bleached linen, and up-cycled wooden furniture complete the pared-back rough-luxe feel, with artistic accents adding flair to the space. Wall-mounted open-air showers are ensconced in tropical greenery, and rambling gardens with towering ornamental grasses, sun-drenched stone terraces, and twinkling plunge pools complete the postcard-perfect look.
