Coco-mat Eco Residences
Serifos, Greece
A beachside design-led hotel with an eco-friendly vibe
This beachside retreat is all about unpretentious Mediterranean aesthetics with an oh-so-chill vibe. Blending Cycladic architecture with traditional 19th-century miner dwellings, the hotel combines barefoot chic luxury and old-world charm.
An abundance of windows creates an instant connection with the surrounding nature and sea. Light-flooded spacious rooms are fitted with comfy Coco-mat beds, crisp white linens, and earthy minimalist decor. A space fit for some serious chilling and seaside you time.
“With respect to the traditional island appearance and to the history of the original building and its earlier inhabitants, coco-mat followed the principles of bio-climatic architecture, securing natural air-conditioning in all Coco-mat Eco residences.”

the look.
Taking a cue from the minimalist Scandi-chic style, rooms balance whitewashed walls and clean lines with a strong design aesthetic. Interiors are tranquil, with minimal fuss, where no unnecessary detail detracts from the space’s clean lines and seamless whites. Rooms are light-filled and framed with white stucco walls, powdery blue trim, naturally woven furnishings, and earthy hues. Thoughtful accents like hand-painted ceramics, wicker baskets, and old orthodox candle holders bring Greek island culture into the space.
