La Grenadine Petit Hotel

Cape Town, South Africa

South Africa / Cape Town / La Grenadine Petit Hotel

A small boutiquey guesthouse tucked away in a 19th-century farmhouse offering French country-style interiors with a modern twist

Personality flows from this delightfully charming country-chic hotel tucked away in the leafy backstreets of Cape Town. Artfully crafted by French artists, the interiors are bathed in light, blending style with whimsy. Adorned with antiques, eccentric artwork, towering stacks of books, and an abundance of vases filled with carefully chosen flowers, the space exudes tasteful charm.

The perfect urban sanctuary to slow down and rejuvenate, yet only a stone’s throw from the shops and restaurants of Kloof Street.

“We see La Grenadine not merely as a guesthouse but – whether it’s in the form of a debate in front of a wintry fire or a summer evening party that moves to the music of our extensive record collection – as a home away from home.”

—La Grenadine Petit Hotel

the look.

A fusion of Scandi-chic and French provincial, this boutique hotel nails that wonderfully delicious hygge feel. Artfully decorated, each room is a tasteful fusion of all things nostalgic and vintage. Bedrooms are defined by crisp white walls, exposed stone, and soft robins-egg blue trim, with splashes of bubble-gum pink throughout. Curtained windows look out onto a lovely English garden framed by hanging plants, climbing ivy, and flowering pomegranate and guava trees.
