Molori Safari Lodge

Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa

South Africa / Madikwe and Marakele / Molori Safari Lodge

A stylish uber-swanky bush getaway overlooking the Dwarsberg mountains and Madikwe Valley

Gazing out over the endless grasslands of the Madikwe game reserve, design-chic Molori lives up to its reputation as the swankiest and most luxurious. Part of the family-owned Rora Private Collection and a favorite with the well-heeled crowds, these five glass-fronted suites are all about immersion, nature, and refined aesthetics. Each suite is smoothly crafted and richly decorated top to toe with African eye candy and furnishings reflecting the travels and inspirations of its owners.

Whispering refined opulence, Michelin-starred feasts, and easy access to South Africa’s malaria-free safaris, it’s no wonder Molori is high up on the once-in-a-lifetime bucket lists.

“Conservation and gaining an understanding of our heritage is of the utmost importance to the family and has become entrenched in the mantra of the Molori staff. We focus on ensuring that our guests leave with a deeper knowledge and rich experience of South Africa’s natural assets.”

the look.

Stone, thatch, and wood suites lavishly decorated with funky bespoke African décor and uber-chic furnishings are the hallmarks of Molori’s Safari Lodge. A patina of warm woods, earthy tones, and impeccable safari-chic aesthetics define each room, with floor-to-ceiling windows blurring the boundaries between inside and out. Bedrooms have a soothing palette of pebble grays and creamy whites with a splash of amber throughout. Soft duvet-cocooned beds sit on polished wood floors topped with hand-woven rugs and decorative sculpted tree limbs, completing the ultra-chic look. Retractable glass doors open onto expansive wrap-around game-viewing decks topped with Dedon daybeds and drool-worthy pools.

An ultra-decadent African bush experience served on a silver platter.
