Working farm meets barefoot luxury
Book through us and unlock exclusive little luxuries!
Every now and then, a place gets everything right—effortless, unpretentious, and deeply rooted in its surroundings. The Farm, an off grid hideaway tucked inland from Eleuthera’s pristine beaches, is one of those places. A 12-cottage retreat built around a thriving organic farm, is the latest venture from Ben Simmons and his Little Island Hotels group.
Inspired by the Cape Dutch farms of South Africa, it’s an experiment in conscious hospitality, where life revolves around a working farm, sun-drenched communal meals, off-grid ease, and the kind of charm that can’t be manufactured. Spend your days lounging by the pool surrounded by citrus trees or head to the nearby beach. If you like your luxury with a side of authenticity, this is your spot.

“For those that enjoy sustainability and want to rejuvenate, eat cleanly, relax, work out and enjoy the simple pleasures of life....”

the look.
The Farm is proof that rustic doesn’t have to mean rough. Thatched-roof cottages, built with reclaimed wood, sit among grassy courtyards surrounded by stone walls, where the scent of flowering herbs lingers in the air. Raised garden beds overflow with vegetables and herbs, while mango and banana trees create pockets of shade. Hints of Cape Dutch influence—spacious verandas, oversized windows, palm-fringed roofs—mingle with tropical textures, creating a style that feels both storied and free-spirited.
Communal areas feature oversized, floor-to-ceiling black-and-white prints of vintage cutlery, adding a bold, artistic flair to the dining space. Tables are adorned with handpicked floral arrangements, and whimsical touches abound—like a piece of cardboard tacked to a wall, inviting guests to share ideas for improving sustainability and helping the planet.
At night, fairy lights and lanterns flicker in the trees, casting a golden glow over long, communal dinners. The aesthetic is equal parts wild and well-considered—a place where nature is given center stage but never at the cost of comfort.

the experience.
pool + croquet + bonfires
Swim in the orchard-side pool. Explore Eleuthera’s raw beauty—hidden beaches, blue holes, and tidal pools await. Or take a boat to Harbour Island for a taste of pastel-hued colonial charm. And at night, enjoy confabbing with guests at the evening bonfire.
beachside bliss
While The Farm itself is set just inland, a short stroll leads you to the private beach at The Other Side, where turquoise waters and powdery sand await. Lounge on a sunbed, paddleboard across glassy waters, or hop on a boat to Harbour Island for a day of exploring Dunmore Town’s colorful streets.
farm-to-table feasts
The on-site farm is the beating heart of the property, supplying fresh produce for meals that celebrate local ingredients. Think just-caught seafood, vibrant garden vegetables, and Sunday bruncheons where ‘fish and grits’ is the star of the show. Communal tables encourage conversation, while the bar serves up handcrafted cocktails and rejuvenating mocktails.
