 Greece / Kythira, Ionian Islands

A nature lover’s paradise

The remote island of Kythira lies just off the tip of the Peloponnese yet is considered part of the Ionian island group. Undulating agricultural fields dotted with whitewashed villages, olive trees, and grazing sheep as far as the eyes can see. The mountainous island of Kythira is a nature lover's paradise with a network of well-marked trails crisscrossing through verdant valleys, waterfalls, deep gorges, and plenty of secluded beaches for cooling off. The island also boasts a plethora of picturesque villages with a handful of boutique eco-friendly hotels and plenty of tasteful Airbnb options.

The Offbeat Goat’s collection includes a favourite experience-led boutique hotel.
